Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, claim to have blown up an NNPC, pipeline at Eleme leading to the Nigeria Liquefied National Gas, NLNG in the state. The group, in a statement shared on their Facebook wall, claimed the attack was carried out at about 3am yesterday, July 6th;
“By 3.00 am, yesterday, strike team 2 carried out a major strike, bombing NNPC pipeline at Eleme leading to NLNG. You won’t stop us.”their statement read. In a related development, the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force, JNDLF, yesterday, threatened to attack seven flow stations in Bayelsa State.
Their Facebook page has since been taken down!
