Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, files at Court of Appeal a day after he was sacked from office.


Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, this morning, filed a notice of appeal and application for stay of execution at the Court of Appeal in Abuja against the ruling of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court. Justice Abang had yesterday, sacked Ikpeazu from office after his main contender during the state's PDP primary in 2014, Uche Ogah, proved to the court that Ikpeazu presented fake tax clearance during the gubernatorial primaries.
