Taylor Swift is the world's highest paid celebrity of 2016 with a staggering income of $170 million in the past year. The earnings mostly came from her 1989 World Tour, in which she smashed the Rolling Stones’ North American touring record, grossing $250 million. Other income sources included promotions for Diet Coke, Keds and Apple.
One Direction comes in second place with $110million, while Author James Patterson pulled in $95 million to snag the No. 3 spot.
