Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend, shared a polite warning on Snapchat last week that he, like Swift, also writes songs―including, it seems, ones about exes.
In his song "Ole," a reggae track sung by John Newman-and it is no flattering, Harry Styles–penned "Perfect."
The song is from new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston's point of view, TMZ reports, and its lyrics suggest the Hiddleswift fling started while Swift was still with Harris. (An interesting way to comment on the "sources say there was no cheating" reporting every tabloid published during Swift and Harris's break-up-one whose media narrative Swift controlled, Harris reportedly wrote on Instagram.)
Lyrics TMZ obtained include "I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend..." (A shout-out presumably to Harris and Swift's Coachella trip.)
A more telling line: "You've hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel."
And Hiddleston's most direct call-out, where his Thor character Loki is perhaps punnily referenced: "Low key you won't tell none of your friends about me."
TMZ reports Harris has nothing against Hiddleston, according to sources. Harris just thinks the actor is "under Swift's spell."
Hmmm......
Elle story..
