Nickolodeon has introduced a married gay couple in new kiddies cartoon.

Kid’s network, Nickelodeon, will be making history as they introduce, for the first time, a married gay couple with their new show The Loud House. According to the synopsis, the gay couple Harold and Howard McBride are biracial and will be voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald. The makers were however prevented by Disney from allowing the gay couple depict displays of affection to each other.

After the cut watch an excerpt of the couple portrayed as doting parents, with the black man playing the role of 'mother'.

Programmes like I Am Cait and the one depicting a little boy's trans journey, I Am Jasmine, were cancelled in Nigeria after protests from Nigerian parents, so, it's possible this particular kiddies programme may not be aired in Nigeria. But, who knows...
