Gareth and his new fiancée, Emma Rhys-Jones, stayed in a five double-bed villa on the 98-acre island, which comes with its own 1909-built lighthouse and is described as the 'perfect private paradise' by its owners.
They were accompanied by their two daughters Alba Violet, four in October, and new-born Nava Valentina, as well as other family and friends.
Bale celebrated his 27th birthday on the island, which can also be reached by helicopter.
He took to Twitter the day after his birthday party to announce Emma, his childhood sweetheart, had accepted his marriage proposal.
The couple and their daughters were pictured the following day enjoying time at the beach, as Emma showed off her five-carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring, but the spot the pictures were taken at was not revealed.
The villa Gareth stayed at boasts a fully-stocked bar, 60ft swimming pool, outdoor whirlpool, steam bath and sauna, as well as rooftop space to lounge in the sun and enjoy spectacular views of the turquoise-coloured sea.
The island owner, a German businessman who is dating a former Spanish beauty queen-turned-TV presenter, also makes a small yacht, two boats and two jet skis available to guests although those willing to spend a little extra can hire a 100ft super yacht including a full crew for £60,000 a week.
Although low-season weekly rentals start at just over £80,000, Bale reportedly paid £420,000 for his dream location,
