It’s over for one of Hollywood's high profile couples, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The actress, 41, filed for divorce from her husband of two years — and partner of 12 — on Monday, according to TMZ.
The Oscar winner cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. But the website reports that Jolie filed for divorce over the way Pitt, 52, was raising the children.
“She was extremely upset with his methods,” sources told TMZ.
We are told there was no alleged "third person", her decision to file was solely over Brad's interaction with their children. In the legal docs, Jolie requests physical custody of the couple’s six children and is not asking for spousal support.
Jolie and Pitt are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The date of separation is listed as September 15, 2016
They married in August 2014. They've been together since 2004.
The last time the power couple were seen together was in July when they took the twins, Knox and Vivienne, out for a birthday breakfast in West Hollywood.
Jennifer Aniston may just be laughing her heart out.
